Special thanks must go to Peter Mitchell, who has very kindly offered to run a series in honour of Les Sparkes - The Flying Sparkes Trophy.

Les was a great character, full of fun.
(There is an obituary for him that was first published on the main BARCS web site in June 2003.)

This Trophy is therefore very appropriate to the new face of Miniglider.

The series will be run to the provisional F3K rules, the tasks actually flown will be decided prior to each event and will be determined by expected weather conditions.

Are Bungees acceptable? Contact Pete if you do need to use one!

Entry costs £3 per round in advance. Prizes for the individual events will probably be of the bottled fermented grape variety.

As if this wasn't already the best value fun ever, Pete has even made a special offer of £7.50 for all 4!
