Prior to the publishing of "the Half Hour Challenge" I used a "set" of 20 flights to the postal rules each time I have an outing with my DLG model. Gave me a chance to compare set ups, weather conditions and field suitability. I took cards with me and jotted down the result after each flight, usually did the calculations at home and then recorded them for comparison. No real reason to go for this particular flight grouping except that the best 10 from 20 will tend to iron out inconsistencies and on the postal days you have a chance to compare with what went on in other parts of the country.
