BARCS Mini-Glider Rules

The Model

1. Maximum wing span 1500 mm
2. Maximum weight 560 grams
3. No minimum wing loading
4. Minimum nose radius 7.5 mm measured tangentially to all intersecting surfaces.

Minimum nose radius rule has been changed to 5.0mm to bring it in line with the FAI rules. This is pending approval at the next BARCS agm.

Mini Bungee (if used)

1. The bungee to have a maximum unstretched length of 20 metres of which a minimum of 15 metres must be of non stretching line
2. A clearly visible pennant must be attached to the model end of the bungee.
3. The bungee must be securely staked at the upwind end using a tent peg type anchor.
4. The maximum total stretched length of the bungee at the point of launch will be 27 metres.
